EcoCAR3

ASU is part of the EcoCAR3 competition — a U.S. Department of Energy and General Motors challenge for 16 North American universities to redesign a Chevy Camaro to reduce its environmental impact while maintaining its muscle. The ASU EcoCAR3 team is made up of undergraduate and graduate students from multiple areas of study including engineering, business, journalism and entrepreneurship. Subdivisions within the team focus on different aspects of the car. The four-year project is expected to be completed in 2018.
