The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication/Eight Building is a state-of-the-art facility that is closer to more major metropolitan news operations than any other journalism school in the country. The building provides students with digital newsrooms, computer labs, TV studios and the Cronkite Theater. The university-operated public television station, Eight, Arizona PBS (KAET), is in the same complex. This sustainable building also features 322 solar panels on its roof.
