Palm Walk is the most photographed site on the Tempe campus, and is a popular north-south campus corridor, extending from the University Bridge to the Sun Devil Fitness Complex. From 2016 to 2018, the century-old palm trees were replaced with new date palms that provide more shade for pedestrians and fruit for the university’s annual date harvest.
