ASU’s new ISTB12 building at the Polytechnic campus serves as the centralized home for the School of Manufacturing Systems and Networks within the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. Spanning approximately 173,000 gross square feet across three floors, the state-of-the-art facility supports advanced research and instruction in areas such as additive manufacturing, robotics, automation and semiconductor production. Designed to foster collaboration and address engineering challenges, ISTB12 also supports ASU’s sustainability goals with features like rainwater harvesting and solar-ready infrastructure, and is targeting LEED Silver certification.
